Westside Travel was born in Bishopdale with Office Manager – Sally Dickson

1993

Retail Manager – Dale Maisey

1997

Dale and Sally became Directors

2002

Dale won United Travel Manager of the Year

2003

Moved to current premises within the mall

2004

Dale again won United Travel Manager of the Year.

2005

Dale was voted onto the United Travel Holdings Board of Directors

2006

Jenny Pawson – Consultant – won United Travel Consultant of the Year (and Jenny got the keys to drive the United Beetle for 6 months!)



Westside United Travel won the Bishopdale/Burnside Rotary, Small Business of the Year Award (Dale and Sally with our 'Award Wall' behind - ask to see it if you're visiting the office)



20th Birthday Party with a huge staff reunion in November (the cheerful group included staff from our 'sister' company, TeamWestside; there were many more who couldn't make it on the night)

2007

Jenny, Alana and Jacqui celebrate 5 years service at Westside!  (the team line up and gifts included a pink-wrapped bike)

The consultants hectic trip to the Gold Coast!  (being a Travel Consultant isn't ALL hard work)

2008

Kirsti joins the team, Kristan takes off on her 'Big OE' and Jenny is on maternity leave with Kate filling in during her absence.

Jenny returned to work after three months maternity leave with the adorable Finn in a nearby creche.

'Girls Day Out' in December to The Gables in Wainui Bay for a fascinating Italian cooking demonstration and lunch, complete with Balsamic tasting (pictured below). We sampled 25 and 50 year old brews by licking a drop off the back of our hands - and they were scrummy!  Buono apetito!!

Kirsti nominated for ICCCA's Rising Star award (cruising).  (Maybe next time...)

Jenny, Alana and Jacqui all celebrated 7 years of sensational service with us. "Do you like my hand-bags and belt?"...gifts purchased from a former staff member's online accessory business www.shopatfive.co.nz
